【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthelaboratoryevaluationoftherelativeresistanceofconcretesurfacestoabrasion.Thisproceduresimulatestheactionofwaterborneabrasivesandabrasivesundertrafficonconcretesurfaces.Itperformsacuttingactionthattendstoabrademoreseverelythelessresistantcomponentsoftheconcrete.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheabrasionresistancecharacteristicsofconcretebysubjectingittotheimpingementofair-drivensilicasand.Itisintendedforuseasabasisforthedevelopmentofinformedjudgment.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Inch-poundunitsareshownforinformationpurposesinparentheses.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1Usersofthistestmethodareadvisedthatthereareknownsafetyhazardsassociatedwiththeuseofsilicaasablastingmedia.ConsultthesilicamanufacturesMSDStoinsurethatthelatestrecommendedhealthandsafetypracticesarebeingfollowed.Note2Otherproceduresareavailableformeasuringabrasionresistanceofconcretesurfacesinadditiontosubjectingittoairdrivensilicasand.ConsiderationshouldbegiventoothermethodsoftestingasoutlinedinASTMC779/C779M,ASTMC944,andASTMC1138.Thetestmethodmostcloselyrepresentingserviceconditionsshouldbeused.1.3Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichareprovidedasexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthisstandard.
