【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsforthehandlingandstorageandthecharacteristicsforinclusioninregional/national/local/buyerstandardsofvisualstrengthgradingofsoftwoodandhardwoodpoles.Italsospecifiesthemarkingrequirements.Thisstandardidentifiesthecharacteristicsforwhich,asaminimum,limitsshallbegiveninvisualgradingstandardsorspecifications.Thisstandardappliestobothsoftwoodandhardwoodpoles.Thisstandardcoversonlysinglepolesundercantileverand/orcompressionloading.Forexample,thisstandarddoesnotcoverpolesusedasbeams.Theprovisionofpolesforuseinanyoverheadlineorcableinfrastructureshalltakeintoaccountarangeoffactorsnotcoveredbythisstandardwhichwillnecessitatethespecificationbytheenduserofcomplementaryandsynonymousattributestothosedefinedinthisstandard.Thisreferstorequirementsforanumberoffactorsincludingsafety,overheadplant,handling,fittings,installationmachineryandworkingpracticesincludingclimbing.
