【摘要】:Inanincreasinglyharsheconomiccontext(tighterperformancerequirements,shorterdevelopmentcycles,reducedcostofownership,etc.),itisessentialtoensureproductmaturityrapidlyand,inanycase,bythetimeofcommissioning.Itiswithaviewtoremedyingshortcomingsintraditionaldevelopmentmethodsthat"highlyaccelerated"testshavebeendeveloped.Themainunderlyingprinciplebehindthisnewtypeofteststrategyisasfollows:ratherthanreasoningintermsofconformitywithaspecificationandsimplyperformingconventionaltests,weonthecontraryattempttopushtheproducttoitslimitsbyapplyingenvironmentalstressesand/orstimulioflevelshigherthanthespecification.Theaimisthustotakefulladvantageofcurrenttechnologies,byeliminatingdefectswhichgeneratepotentialfailures,asofthefirstprototypes.Awell-conductedacceleratedtestprocessshould,inarelativelyshorttime,leadtoasignificantincreaseintherobustnessofaproduct,asearlyastheinitialprototypesstageatthebeginningofthedevelopmentphase,thusacceleratingearlymaturityofthisproduct.Furthermore,identificationofthemarginsavailableona"mature"producthelpsdesignandsizeitsfutureenvironmentalstressscreeningprofilemoreaccurately,byincreasingtheseverityoftheloadingsappliedtojustwhatisneeded,leadingtoaparticularlysignificantboostintheefficiencyofthisenvironmentalstressscreeningprocess.
