【摘要】:IndividualswillbeinitiallyorconcurrentlytrainedinaccordancewithU.S.D.O.T.CourseGuideforFirstResponders3andGuideF1453.Thisguidedoesnotsuggestaparticulartrainingsequence.Thisguidemaybeusedbyindividualsdevelopingtrainingprogramsfornon-traditionalEMSenvironments.Thisguideacknowledgestheneedtoprovideadditionalspecifictrainingforfirstresponderswhowillpracticeinthewilderness,delayedorprolongedtransportsettings.Individualsresponsiblefortrainingfirstrespondersshouldidentifythosewhowillpracticeinthewilderness,delayedorprolongedtransportsettingsandmustensurethatsuchpersonnelarecompetentinallskillsneededfortheuniquesettings.1.1Thisguidecoversminimumtrainingstandardsforfirstresponderswhomaycareforsickorinjuredpersonsinthespecializedpre-hospitalsituationsofthewilderness,delayed,orprolongedtransportsettings,includingcatastrophicdisasters.1.2Thisguideestablishessupplementalorcontinuingeducationprogramsthatwillbetaughttoindividualstrainedtothefirstresponderlevelbyanappropriateauthority.1.3Thisguidedoesnotprovidetrainingtobeused,ordinarily,inthetraditionalEMSorambulancetransportationenvironments.1.4Includedinthisguideisastandardfortheevaluationoftheknowledgeandskillsdefinedwithinthisguide.1.5Successfulcompletionofacoursebasedonthisguideneitherconstitutesnorimpliescertificationorlicensure.1.6Thisguidedoesnotestablishmedicalprotocols,nordoesitauthorizeinvasiveprocedureswithoutspecificauthorizationandmedicalcontrol.1.7Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.8Operatingwithintheframeworkofthisguidemayexposepersonneltohazardousmaterialsorenvironments,procedures,andequipmentorallofthese.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
